Right now I am really :zipit: off with AOL.

This morning I try to log into Msnm, and get told that there is a problem with my proxy settings, and that I need to configure my firewall. Small problem. I don't have one. Next... I try to send an email using outlook.........it fails and suprise suprise, blames it on my webhost.

I think nothing of it, as sometimes msn have problems, until later in the day when I go onto aol live help for a completely different question, and see this notice:

Welcome to AOL Member Help Interactive. If you are currently experiencing problems when trying to access any MSN services please be advised that we are aware of the issue and are working to resolve as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

I asked them about it, and they are currently in the process of forwarding all report of this problem to the technical team. They also acknowledged that the problems with outgoing mail in outlook was also related to this.

As for when this is going to be fixed? ........Sorry but we cannot make an estimate of when this problem will be rectified. I asked if this is a long term or short term problem, and rather worryingly they said they could not say  .

A friend of mine just called me, and she's on AOL but is having the same problem. Seems like its everyone with AOL in the UK. We spoke over AIM, but none of my mates have aim, all msnm....and I need to speak to them!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! (Sorry I badly needed that).

Just needed to vent really.

I feel much better now :D (Damn Aol!!!) :brick: :brick:

I just ditched AOL dial-up for a Comcast cable modem.

Obviously, there's a big difference in speed, which allows my Comcast system to go down five times as much in the same amount of time as AOL used to crash.

With AOL, it would just shut my computer completely down. With Comcast, it just puts my computer in a state of suspended animation. (Isn't that what you'd call Pinocchio?)

At least my computer at work domansg;hnf p;hjrflne fnslfnsd lfnsdnds -- oh, dang!
