Aaaaaarrrrggghhhh!!!!!

Just when I thought my life couldn't get any worse, I find a lump on the back of my neck. I don't know what it is or could be. The doc says its a syst(SP?) but won't know for sure until I let her know if it has grown or gotten more painful. This week is going to go by so damn slow for me!!! I'm nervous and scared and a whole lot of other things at the same time. I don't know what to do or what I'm gonna do if this turns out to be what I hope it isn't....

I'm actually crying right now cause I'm so scared right now. This week is gonna be hell...

Try to relax. If the doctor was nearly as worried as you, she would have scheduled a biopsy. Cysts are annoying, but they are very common and should not have any long term complications if properly treated.

I hope that's of some comfort.

Calm down... most likely it will be a hair cyst. I know, it sounds gross, but it is probably some ingrown hair. I have a friend who had one like that. I agree with Gary, if the doctor had thought it was something more serious, he porbably would have ordered a biopsy. Don´t worry... :kiss:
