AAA Discount

I am in the process of finalizing my WDW vacation planning for June but I have a few questions. I reserved my room already for 8 nights using the AAA discount. The discount was about 10% which is okay but last year I received a better deal using a discount code. I am waiting for AP discounts to come out with the hope that the rate is lower than the AAA rate but I am a little concerned. When I spoke to the reservationist she told me that there weren't any garden view rooms (Poly) for the dates that I wanted but that they were available with the AAA discount (weird). I went ahead and booked it because I just can't afford any of the other rooms at the Poly. Later on that same night I went to the WDW website and it indicated that garden view rooms were available for those dates. Can't understand that.

Well my question is, if AP discount rates come out, do you think I will be able to apply the discount even though it is an AAA rate? I know AP discount rates are not guaranteed to come out but I feel that if I keep this reservation I am going to lose out on a better deal in case AP codes are available for my dates.

What should I do?? Any suggestions???

I have been to WDW about 16 times and found the best (and cheapest) method is often to book park tickets and resort room reservations as a package direct though Disney. Then, deal with transportation separately.

I saved about $300 on a trip last August that way.

It may prove worth the time and effort, but I would contact Kindom Konsultants to see what they can do.

Hold on to your reservation and wait to see if more codes come out. If they do, call Disney and ask for prices. Don't tell them you already have a reservation though. When they give you a price compare them and see which is better. If your new price is better then cancel your old reservation and then book the new one. Don't cancel the other reservation until you are sure you can get the room you want.
