Driver's swear ..... are you listenin',
At the Mall .....folks are ',
A miserable sight ..... they're sorry tonite,
Drivin' in New Jersey's TrafficLand!

Gone away ...... are your tires,
meter has ...... just expired,
They towed you away, while you shopped today,
Parkin' in New Jersey's TrafficLand!

On the Parkway we will have a breakdown,
We'll be stuck and threathened on the side,
If we're lucky, someone might come mug us,
And if we plead they may give us a ride!

Santa's sleigh ..... was impounded,
All the Elves ...... were surrounded,
He's now in a cell .... for ringin' his bell,
Living in New Jersey's TrafficLand!

LoL...I can relate to that...back where Im from in Rockland NY..(on the jersey border) we have a HUGE mall...and i swear...to move 3 feet in 5 minutes would be a miracle.....

LOL.... I live at the shore where I COULD have driven 75 miles an hour this morning, except I was obeying all posted speed limits. ;)

Not as much traffic, no one to mug you except unruly deer. But north Jersey is a lot like that. :) And as for the parkway, that's what AAA is for. :)

hey hey hey, i'm in north jersey - and I haven't been mugged in over a month! i've got newark to my right, patterson to my left and new york city straight ahead!

LoL..wow..thats pretty freaky. I had to get as far away from Rockland as I could the moment I graduated High school..I hated the town. I go back up there maybe once a year or so to visit my family...and its always COMPLETLY different.

Yeah... the smallest county in NYS with probably the most strip malls, condos, cars, and people!! Not to mention the huge mall (which I'm gonna be working at soon.... Best Buy!)

Suffern is slowly turning into Route 59 in Nanuet.... probably the largest commercial area in Rockland. Thank god for the isolationism policy in Sloatsburg!! We keep things simple; sport shop, a few deli's, gas station, and one.... yes one strip mall (5 stores). People call Sloatsburgers hicks & rednecks, but at least we ain't got 60 stores in a half-mile strip of road and we can actually cross our main street!!

I unfortunatly lived between route 59 and Route 45...horrible for traffic. We have like 8 strip malls between my house and the NANUET mall...and countless more on the way to palacades center. It's insane...i couldnt stand it anymore...not to mention the fact that If i had stayed in rockland..id probobly be like my friends...who all still live at home...and STILL dont do anything. I mean...i got so tired of the same routine...Go to dennys (which is no closed...i have no idea where they go now)...go play pool at "Cousins"....MAYBE drive to Knuckleheads....go home...

Tell me about it... why do you think its 9 pm, I'm a high school senior, and I'm at home talking to you (no offense)!! Nothing to do anywhere!! You can forget about going to Palisades Center on a Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday. Its just illegal to even think about it. And on a holiday weekend, or now, the Holiday Season... forget about it. Also, I expect tumbleweeds to go by me when I'm walking through the Nanuet Mall.... place is a ghost-town since PC opened.

LoL...yeah..sounds familiar. Back when i was a senior (1997)....there was even LESS to do. I have only been to the PC 3 times since it opened (I moved to Florida before it was built)...and all 3 times it took me an hour to get a parking space....

Its so amazing how a town with SO many people could have SO little to do.
