A "WHAT IF..."? scenario (Alien Encounter, Stitch, and the Tiki Room)

Here's a little "WHAT IF...?" question for fun. What would have happened back in 2004 if we had gotten a Stitch Tiki Room instead of Stitch's Great Escape (Espically if it were a Stitch Tiki Room that was along the lines of this mock-up of it I wrote, but with better writing of course:
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=347669 )?

*WOULD a Stitch Tiki Room have been better received if it had replaced Under New Management in 2004?

*WOULD Stitch have the same negative reputation he has among the WDW fanbase?

*WOULD Alien Encounter still be around today, or would it have been replaced by a new attraction by now?

*Having Stitch in the Tiki Room in 2004 would have most likely led to a huge increase in attendance for it. However, WOULD the attendance figures hold up today, or would the attendance eventually drop off to the same low numbers that it usually suffers from?

My guess is ...

1. We'd still hate Stitch.
2. The majority of the fanbase would have been delighted with the Stitch AA caught on fire (resulting in the return of the original Tiki Room).
3. Alien Encounter would still be there ... and word would have eventually gotten out "don't take your toddler in there; it's scary".
4. There'd be a substantial (probably not a majority of people, but many) clamoring for a new attraction in the AE theater.

Aliren Encounter would have been long gone. They didn't take it down because they thought of stitch, they thought of stitch because they were planning to take AE down.

I would guess:

1.) Yes
2.) Yes
3.) Alien Encounter still would have been replaced like ChristianG said.
4.) The attendance would eventually drop off to the same low numbers.

I guess there's only one word to explain it all:

Just because an alternative idea for the blue furred experiment can be done, doesn't really mean that it'll work right. Talk about a win/fail situation.

Still a proud Stitch supporter!

And I'd say yes it would cause the Stitch Tiki Room show is far better than UNM. And I still don't see why SGE is so hated...It's the same ride just less scary.

Is the chili burp really that bad people?

There's my 2 cents.

Well even if the fire still happened the Stitch AA wouldn't have burned since it would be in the center of the room instead of up in the ceiling like Iago was. Though the AA probably still would have been ruined by all the sprinkler water running down on it...

Hence why I included the link to my Stitch Tiki Room fanfic. I do think it can work, but I'm not too fond of the actual Stitch Tiki Room due to its short length, lack of the theme song, and abrupt ending, so I wrote the script to fix those issues.

It does have potential though, if it were executed properly. If they did like I did in the fanfic and focus more on the sentimentality of Lilo & Stitch movies instead of the obnoxious crude Stitch that's on display in SGE, then it would be a decent show.
