I just got back today from a short conference trip, late Saturday thru Tuesday. A few things noted on this trip: 1) Stayed at Pop for one night and really liked it. Have heard it compared to Motel 6, but having stayed mods & deluxe before, I found it to be really fun and nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Definately would stay there again. 2) Cast members were exceptionally friendly and helpful this trip. Most truly seemed to be enjoying their job 
. 3) Saw a live garter snake resting on the sidewalk at MK within a couple feet of the line for the bus back to Pop. 4) I rented a car for the first time (from the Car Care Center on my 2nd day and had no trouble at all getting around. Everything was so well marked. Sorry I hadn't done it sooner. 5) I am so glad I didn't have the free dining. All around I heard people talking about having to hurry for their resv. and huge crowds milling around the restaurants. People sleeping on benches waiting to get in and lots of cranky children being kept out too late and made to wait too long to eat. 6) Had some wonderful food at F&W Festival. My favs were Lamb Chop in New Zealand, Spareribs and Creme Brulee in France, cheddar cheese soup in Canada, warm lava cake with Baileys in Ireland, waffles in Belgium.:slurp:. Now for some rest - I've been up since 3:15am!
