A Small Request for Oct 1st

To anyone who has any say in what happens on Oct 1st, or anyone who is reading this from the Disney company that can make this happen:

I have one very small request....

Please, oh please play the original 1982 EPCOT entrance music on October 1st for the 25th anniversary. Most guests wouldn't even know the difference, but those of us that do would really, really love it! :wave:

i have actually wondered if they would do this. it would be neat to hear that old speil again in the parks. "...and welcome to the 21st Century"

I'm hoping for this as well - how amazing would it be to walk into the park and hear the old "Universe of Energy" or "Magic Journeys."

Although it would manage to delay my quick movement to rope drop to get a good spot for the rededication ceremony!

I agree this would be an awesome thing, not sure how complex it would be though

Edit: Although I was at MK last weekend and noticed the music at the entrance to Adventureland sounded like it was a CD skipping, so maybe the audio systems are that high-tech after all

I honestly wouldn't be suprised to see this. Oct 1, 2007 will be as close to Oct 1, 1982 as they can get it.
