A Slow Boat to China

Hi all,

My Family and I have a week stay in WDW in August, and will be staying at the Pop Century. The first day is a down day and I was thinking of taking a liesurly 1 hour trip from DTD up to Port Orleans then Bus back to the hotel. Even on the down day I want to do as much as possible. It seemed crazy to get dropped off a PopCentury (4:00) , wait for a bus (4:30), get to DTD (5:00), Eat at DTD till (6:00), catch the boat (6:30), float upto PO (7:30), catch a bus to a park(8:00), catch a bus to the pop Century (8:30). Arrive at PopCentury close to 9:00. Instead .......

So..... rather then have the MagicExpress drop us at PopCentury, is it possible to have the MagicExpress Drop us off at the Port Orleans?

This way, we get to PortOrleans (4:00), Catch a Boat (4:30), float down to DTD (5:30), Eat till (6:30), catch a bus to PopCentury (7:00) Arrive at PopCentury close to 7:30.

Assuming my times are close, getting dropped off at PO would save 1:30 hrs. We would still have our carry on luggage, but for most of the day it will be a sight seeing day, not a walking day.

No, DME will only bring you to the hotel at which you have a reservation.

(And the same holds true for the return to the airport... You must get picked up at the hotel associated with your DME reservation. You can't, for instance, go to the Magic Kingdom all day while waiting for an evening flight, and then get a DME pickup at Contemporary. You'd have to go back to the hotel you stayed at)
