Here's a random question: back when the Pulse Nightclub shootings happened, I purchased of a couple of "OrlandoUnited" tee shirts, where the proceeds went to the families of the victims.
Would it be acceptable and fitting for me to wear one when we visit Orlando, as a continuing gesture of support (and also because it's a beautiful shirt that goes with everything), or would it be seen as inappropriately drawing attention to a sad event almost two years ago that the community would rather not be reminded of? Or alternatively, would wearing an OrlandoUnited shirt in Orlando be the gauche fashion equivalent of going to a concert wearing the T-shirt of the band you're going to see?
