A quick Epcot trip report

So this trip report doesn't really belong to me, and there are no pictures, but I thought I'd share anyway! One of the girls I work with went this past weekend (9/25-9/28) to Orlando with her b/f for a short getaway. I BEGGED her to go to Disney, as she had never been, or at least not since she was really really little and he had never been. Time would allow them to do only one park on Sunday, so they picked Epcot. I gave her a quick crash-course in successful Epcot touring, going over all the must-do's and the ones that could probably be skipped in a time crunch. She was nervous b/c her b/f gets motion sickness pretty easily, but they would try. She said everything went wonderfully! He got a little nauseous on Mission:Space, even on the green team, but that was it. She said they spent the whole day there, open til close, and did everything "except that spaceship ride b/c I didn't know there was a ride inside that big ball!" she said :ROFLOL:She said the crowds were great, not too crowded at all, and didn't really have to wait too long for anything. She said she lost both her ticket AND her Soarin FP out of her back pocket, and was worried sick about it, but they replaced both for her which was very nice! She loved the rides, even the corny ones that I love too! They ate lunch at Sunshine Seasons and had salads which she said were good. I had told her they probably wouldn't be able to get ADR's at such a late notice anywhere, and we looked, and she also called after they got there, and none were available. Her b/f REALLY wanted to eat at the Biergarten, so they checked just to see around 8ish, and were seated in 10 minutes! I was shocked! Got to see Illuminations, which she said were "good" and I don't completely agree, as they always give me chills and bring a tear to my eye. They missed the first 10 min though. They had a WONDERFUL time, and I was so thrilled b/c I would have felt awful if they hated it and had spent so much money going after I so highly recommended it. I also now don't feel so crazy, b/c I'm now not the only one with Disney-itis and she can't wait to go back and see the other parks! :sohappy: Oh they also went to a magic show dinner thing at WonderWorks, saw the Blue Man Group and ate at the Hard Rock at City Walk, and went indoor skydiving somewhere, and saw a Titanic exhibit somewhere. They had so much fun, and I just had to share!:D
