Do you by any chance know what number I would call specifically for complaining about my visit this weekend?..

I’m not going to get into the specifics because this isn’t a debate and a lot of people here already feel that I’m pretty biased against Universal to begin with.

I went with my company outing this weekend and had about ten things happen with attractions and employees that were frustrating, specifically dangerous or INCREDIBLY inappropriate for any employee dealing with the public anywhere. On the way out, I tried to go to guest relations and got brushed off by a manager doing the “thank you for coming” “good night deal” and after getting outside the gaits and going back up to guest relations, I got brushed off again buy someone at the window that rolled his eyes when I said I wanted to complain about something… I don’t know, maybe they had an incredibly bad day in the parks. I know there were some power problems that affected a lot of attractions later in the day and perhaps they had a lot of complaints because of that already but there were some serious problems with some things going on that had little or nothing to do with the weather including an incident with an assistant manager that exhibited physically violent hostility in one of the restaurants. (not specifically at me or anybody in my party) In all honesty, for everything I have ever complained about with Universal, its been in quality of things that I compared them to Disney with and have to some degree been petty but some of these events were down right appaling.

hmm... the main number for Universal is 407-363-8000. That's really the only number I know of, otherwise, you know I'd hook you up.

Thank you, sir... I'm not even going to bother with a trip report or a detailed outline of what actually happened because I doubt that most people would even believe me. I know that you've said that Universal has been working a lot on keeping things running smoothly in the parks and on employee behavior and to be honest, if it hadn't happened to me, I'd have a hard time believing that someone could run into so many problems in a single day. Maybe it was just a fluke but the fact that nobody in the park seemed to care when I complained made it a lot worse...

I think you should post it anyway, Mr. P. It's not a matter of people believing or not. I myself am curious because, like you said, Rob has been saying how Universal is getting cleaner and friendlier than Disney, and whatever happened to you should probably be exposed along with all the bad Disney stories that have been popping up lately, and the really good ones that showed up this week.

Go ahead and post it, you've got me interested in hearing about the "Weekend From Hell." Although I should add that power problems can pretty much turn a park into total chaos. You should have heard the horror stories from DCA when the power was knocked out there last year.

Did you happen to get his name?
