We are going to the World in Feb. We are arriving late the first day and did not get park tickets for that day. Is there any way to get from French Quarter to the Boardwalk without going thru Epcot?

You can take a bus to a Park or DTD and then to the Boardwalk or take a cab from your resort. There is no direct transportation.

Besides driving? You can take the boat from DHS (outside the gate so you don't need admission) over to the Boardwalk or walk along the path, but it's a bit of a walk. I'm sure there are other ways as well.

There is a path from DHS to the Boardwalk. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk and the path starts near where the bus drop off/pick area is located (it runs along the side of the lake that would be on your left if you were facing the entrance to DHS from outside the park).

If you don't want to walk, you can take a boat over from DHS. The dock is on the lake in front of DHS (facing the entrance to DHS it would be to your right). The boats are slow and run about every 20 minutes at best. The boats run from DHS to Swan and Dolphin and then I believe to Boardwalk. I'd get off at the Swan and Dolphin and walk to the Boardwalk if it were me.
