A positive Trip Report!

Well, I just got back from 4 days/nights at Disney (stayed at Carib. Beach) and I have to say it was just about perfect. I suppose it doesn't hurt that I got engaged (ha ha) but everything at all 4 parks was just great. A few specific details :

Saw Fantasmic for the first time. Amazing! A must see.

Went to AK for the first time. Enjoyed it, but see areas for improvement. I don't think it's quite up to the level of the other parks but maybe someday. The safari thing was excellent.

Can I just say that Epcot is amazing? We spent almost an entire day in and around future world. Visited the remaining showcases the next day. This is definitely my fav. park - that place is just awesome. Plus with MS coming along it will be even better.

Went to MK for one day and did a bunch of things that I wouldn't normally do (or hadn't done for about 10-15 years) like jungle cruise, tom sawyers island, TTA, etc and just had a great time. It reminded me of the things I got excited about when I was little.

Anyway, as a lot of people frequently point out Disney may be slipping a bit here and there, but overall my experience was just fantastic. 4-5 days is definitely plenty of time for me

Yup, did all of the parks. Mgm was great as well .. my girlfriend (ahem) .. fiance .. had not been there before so it was like new for me again too. I had only been there once before anyway

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the trip. I agree with you about AK - it is getting better but has some way to go to catch up with the others.

Thank you for such a positive thread - it is nice to see that others feel the same wonderful feelings I do when I visit WDW. I must say, that seeing it with and through a loved ones eyes is about the most fun you can have.

Got engaged near the lagoon at Carib Beach. Won't be a Disney wedding - that's a little too fantasy-like for my tastes (not to mention extortionately expensive). No pics yet!
