A perfect Test Track

If Test Track were to run perfectly, how long would the wait be? Aren't the lines 2 hrs nowadays because of the breakdowns? Just wondering, :)

If Test Track were to run perfectly, there still would be a wait time as you described due to the fact that Test Track is the only thrill ride in that park. The first place guests head to when the ropes come down is Test Track. Depending on how many FastPasses were issued is how the StandBy line's wait time is configured. Breakdowns last only about 3-6 minutes. Downtimes are the bg ones that can last an hour or longer. That is what kills.

I just got done posting about the wait I had today for Test Track....

Get this, their was no wait when I went on at 6:30PM today(9-3-02), you go in the building, and go straight to the screening rooms, Test Track was totally hurting for people today!!! No stand-by line, No single rider line, No Fastpass Line, that's how bad they were hurting to fill it up today.

I asked the guy, "you still got the single-rider line" He said, "no way, you don't need to, their's no wait, your walking right into the screening rooms, so go ahead."

I guess there is a somewhat perfect test track... no waiting at all:lol: But if it to run normally without ever going 101 how many guests could it handle per hour?

Wow... no wait!

When I worked there, I rode TT once during cm preview in December 98. The ride oficially opened in March 99, and it took me about two more months (or maybe more) to be able to ride it again! Everytime I wanted to do it, the line was extremely long! When I finally rode it, I, of course, took the single riders line. :animwink:

On our last day in the parks last year we rode it twice in less than 20 minutes - 1 normal queue and 1 FP. AND it was the middle of April !!!

I had ridden Test Track at least four times, and used the single riders line twice. I think I waited 20-25 minutes, but it was better than the 45 minute wait that was listed.

Chances are, you probably got on the line after the ride came back online after being down. It's pretty cool just to walk right in and get on a ride.
