A night at DTD

We have a 6 day - 5 night vacation coming up with 9 of us. I have one of the nights set aside for my sister, wife, and I to explore DTD. Mainly their bars. No one in our group has ever gone to DTD before. Any suggestions on how to attack it? Certain bars you all would recommend?

My basic hope is to have a great time and not get bombed. Basically a Drinking Around the World dropped into DTD. So, great selections and great environments.

Never spent a night bar crawling at DTD, but Bongos has great mojitos. I would start there, as I love mojitos!

We love Fulton's Bar! They have a great Martini menu and the apps are great. The bar is very laid back and relaxed.

House of Blues has a cool atmosphere..

If you want to do more than pub crawl there is great shopping, a bowling alley and Cirque du Soleil a great show.

Keep in mind that all the "bars" are located within restaurants...the days of clubbing at Pleasure Island are long gone.

It isn't in DTD but you could head over to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk, dueling Pianos =fun time!

I was gonna recommend Bongos but you said not bombed lol. They are heavy handed with the liquor there and cheap by disney standards lol.

You have to go to Raglan Road during their musical performance- the music is fun and the beer is flowing!

Honestly, Raglan was the only one on my radar. It looks like fun can be had by all. But after Raglan I was drawing a blank. thanks

Never really bar hopped at Dtd. Too many other things like shopping to do. Haha

When we have gone we've found a lot of outdoor musicians playing as well which makes for great entertainment. We aren't bar hoppers, but still thoroughly enjoy the DTD environment.

We tend to start at Fuego for a drink and then head over to Raglan Road, after a couple of drinks we may head over to House of Blues but on our way a shot at Paradiso 37 is always a nice break. I have not been to either Splitsville or the Volcano Bar at the Rain Forest Cafe but on my upcoming trip I am hoping to have time to make a stop at both.

If you've got another night, try out JellyRolls (Boardwalk area). It's the one time in Disney World that I've seen my wife intoxicated (very, very intoxicated).

You really will end up hanging out in the old PI/West Side. Raglan, Paradiso 37, Bongos, Splitsville, HOB, maybe one of the drink kiosks if they are open. DTD itself doesn't have much unless you want to hang out at the Rainforest Cafe/TRex bar area.

Ok. That is why I ask questions. As I said, I have never been to DTD. I use DTD as a catchall for everything including PI/West Side. Is that not correct?

Ehh, should have used Marketplace myself instead of DTD. My bad.

The three areas of Downtown Disney (DTD) soon to be known as Disney Springs are Market Place (MP), Pleasure Island (PI) and West Side (WS). So you were correct
