Disney really hasnt used all of thier chars. at WDW. Snow White, Peter Pan, and Whinnie the pooh. When i say THEME i meant those rides. It tells the story.

From a list of top five, #1 being the most fav. of your choice. Which Disney Film should get a attraction?

My Ideas

1.Alladin-How about a kickass Carpet ride through the Cave of Wonders?
2.Little Mermaid-How about putting it where 20,000 leages under the sea used tobe?
3.Pinochio-A water raft ride through the whale?
4.Sleeping Beauty-Travel through the story and meet Malificiant face to face in her Dragon form!:fork:
5.Duck Tales?

I'd like to see a Mary Poppins attraction. . . but it would be nice for Disney to create original theme park characters for the first time in ten years.

I would love to see a Beauty and the Beast themed dark ride in Fantasyland. That would be great. A Little Mermaid boat ride in the Fantasyland Lagoon would be fun too though.

Yes they do have Pinnochio at Disneyland, it's your standard dark ride fare. Added to the park in 1985 when they redid Fantasyland.

I'm Little Mermaid'd out! Keep her attraction at MGM, well done and redo Ariel's Grotto to something else. Pinnochio whale ride would be great and probably the easiest to pull off, from a coherent story perspective.

They also have a big Monstro you take a boat ride thru at DL (Canal Storybook ride)

I never really thought of a Sleeping Beauty ride but it makes perfect sense. Lots of action, great story, and it's easy to follow. This would be a fantastic ride!:sohappy: I also completely agree with you Alladin idea I've always thought they should do something like that riding in carpets and do it kinda like Peter Pan with the suspension from the ceiling. It would be very cool!

How about a coaster for Aladin? I have to bring up Universal in this... Universal is realeasing a new inside coaster with fire effects! the first coaster to that. I believe Disney should make a aladin coaster with fire effects and it is inside just like rocken roller coaster!

Bedknobs and Broomsticks! There's really no limits to what you could do with this one. Even as a simple dark ride, ie. a Snow White conversion it would be stellar.
Just think of all the ready-made ride scenes/effects you have to choose from: You could have a psychedelic speed tunnel run for the travelling bed, especially if the ride vehicles were themed as beds. You could have all sorts of fun with the substitutiary locomotion scene by using wires/pneumatics to make the shoes, dresses, and swords dance. The effects in the movie were so low-tech they should transer effortlessly to a ride. Of course, the showpiece would be the island of Namboomboo, which would need to be a sudden shift of artistic style for the ride to emulate the use of animation in the movie. Imagine riding Pirates of the Carribbean and rounding a corner to suddenly find yourself in the Winnie the Pooh ride. It needs to be that kind of shift. Plus, I'd think it would be neat to have an animatronic of an animated suit or armor perpetually kicking a Nazi in the bum 24/7.

You know I once had a vision of an aladdin themed coaster with fire effects just as you have described. The cars would be magic carpets and would ride through an atmosphere similar to the scene when the cave of wonders starts to close. Wouldn't that be awesome.

Sounds like a good concept, but I'm afraid you dont have as large contingent of bednobs and broomsticks fans that would be busting the gates to visit this new B/__ ticket attraction. Sadly the direction of the company has changed from building a solid theme park experience to building occasional e tickets to lure customers next year. Oh well, we've still got the memories of the good old days.......

Not the first coaster to have fire effects, if I remember correctly. I visited Silver Dollar city in Branson, MI in the late 1970's and it had an in-house built indoor coaster that did have fire sequences as well as a unique diving bell in a lake. Quite creative for a medium size park.
