A new name for Disney California Adventure?

Between the overhaul it's getting and the criticisms for some of its attractions (present and future) not being associated with California, do you think that Disney's... oh, excuse me, Disney-UH California Adventure should get a new name, one with less emphasis on "California"?

My sister half-jokingly-half-seriously suggested that they should rename it Pixarland, even though only a small amount of the land will be related to anything from Pixar.

There will be Disney and Pixar characters (same as any other Disney park) but the California theme will still be the unifying theme for the park.

Everything from the early-Los Angeles entrance, Hollywood Land, Soarin' Over California, Route 66, Pacific Wharf, El Camino Real, Golden State District and Winery, all this plus architecture inspired by real CA buildings. There are also rumored updates for the Grizzly Peak area, which would eventually convert the land into a 50s themed CA National Park.

At one time or another, wasn't there a rumor that the park would be renamed "Walt Disney's California Park" or something like that? I kinda liked that, cause it implied that you'd be following Walt's footsteps...
This one's difficult though lol...I'm really not good at naming parks or sections of parts at all...idk what it should be, but I do agree that a new name wouldn't hurt.

I think it's more important that the park receive a shorter name... anytime a guest is forced to turn a park's name into an acronym just to say it efficiently (and that park's name isn't EPCOT Center), then the name's too long in my opinion. Disney's California or Californialand both sound nice to me.

As for the subject of changing the name, I think too much of the park is themed to California to abandon the theme completely, but there are probably some ways to make the name a bit more abstract. For example, if they named the park something like "Disney's Golden Dreamland" or something similar, that would suggest a park related to the idea of California, but would open up the theme enough to comfortably allow other themes, like the Little Mermaid.

Just some ideas. :)

Like I said, my sister half-sarcastically thinks the park should be called Pixarland.
