A new Disney video game idea! (open brainstorming)

Having just seen "Disney Universe" released, I got thinking about a brand-new video game that somehow combines elements of "Disney Universe", "Kingdom Hearts" and "Epic Mickey" into one very exciting video game! But what are some good ideas, though? That's what this thread is about.

For starters, establish a new Disney Multiverse concept and mythology taking elements from throughout the company's various works. They've been terrified of the concept of legitimate crossovers for too long in spite of the various character interactions in comics and buying Marvel which pioneered the shared universe concept and I think it should stop.

Basic notions I've got for this sort of thing is that the these worlds of Disney are interconnected in such a manner that they take the form resembling a colossal Disneyland style park, these locations being linked by a combination of the magic in the "Fantasyland" sectors and the technology of the "Tomorrowland" sector. Characters are able to freely move between these places, though at certain linking points. Calisota and it's Tri-City area of Duckburg, Mouseton and St. Canard serve as the hub.

Usual "Villains united" stuff, though organized more in a manner that makes sense. In other words, villains like Cruella or Frollo being nowhere near the inner circle lead by Maleficent.
Central conflict of this "Worlds of Disney" thing is Chernabog is manipulating the villains to find a means of freeing him from Bald Mountain. Yen Sid was the one that originally bound him to the Mountain with the help of various other magic folk and gods long ago. Mickey's to be the one that would seal Chernabog back up if he ever manages to free himself. Game wouldn't have to necessarily end in this fashion, just establishing some basics of this sandbox.

What is Calisota?

Calisota is the homestate of the whole Mickey/Donald/Goofy set of characters in comics and other media. Corresponds to a split along the border of Northern California and Washington

I think we should play down the comics angle because I'm not sure if anyone will be too familiar with it. I also think we should decide how Mickey, Donald and Goofy should be depicted in this game as compared to "Kingdom Hearts", "Epic Mickey" and "Disney Universe". Here's how Mickey looks in those three games:

In the Kingdom Hearts series:

In Epic Mickey:

In Disney Universe:

I'll get to Donald and Goofy later. In the meantime, how should Mickey be represented in the new game as compared to the others?

So why not use a new Disney game to introduce it to a newer audience? After all introducing obscure material to people was kind of the entire point of Epic Mickey. Besides, plenty of people know about Duckburg from DuckTales.

Well, I guess that makes sense, but how should Mickey be represented in this game, as compared to "Kingdom Hearts", "Epic Mickey" and "Disney Universe". Here's how Mickey looks in those three games:

I'd say use a graphics style similar to Kingdom Hearts, but none of Nomura's stupid Belts and Zippers. Maybe give Mickey a jacket.

Belts and Zippers? What are you talking about?

You know like these

Tetsuya Nomura, who's in charge of the series, has this ridiculous obsession with putting them everywhere in his designs, especially with DiZ. Why does Donald Duck even need a zipper hat?

A lot of European stuff puts him in blue. There's also a pretty cool red trenchcoat from the Mickey Mouse Mystery Magazine series that could be repurposed into something alluding to Sorcerer's Apprentice.

This series ended up being short-lived in Italy for it's darker tone, but it's nice that they decided to push the adventurer/detective side of the Mouse to new places.

I'm not sure if this kind of idea may go over well with the public. That may have been a reason why the series ended so soon.

Anyway, how should Donald be represented in this game, as compared to "Kingdom Hearts", "Epic Mickey" and "Disney Universe". Here's how Donald looks in those three games:

In the Kingdom Hearts series:

In Epic Mickey:

In Disney Universe:

So how should Donald be represented in the new game as compared to the others?
