Just got back from our 10th Anniversary trip. I'll get around to the trip report eventually, but I wanted to share this because it was just so unexpected and kind.
On Thursday night we went to MNSSHP and arrived around 6:00 pm. I didn't know it at the time, but I was coming down with a cold. I wasn't feeling well, so we sat for a while at the charging stations in the Tangled Restroom area to watch the crowd and let the sun go down. I was really wilting and getting all upset because I didn't want to ruin the evening. Mr.CBs thought I might be dehydrated. He went around to Columbia Harbor House to get me a cold drink, but the line was out the door with people getting dinner before the party.
He asked a CM standing outside if there was any other place where he might be able to just grab a soda (a cart or something), since that was all he wanted. The CM asked if he was sure that's all he needed, he said yes, and she told him to wait a minute. Then she ducked inside and brought him out a coke, which she refused to take money for.
It was just a little thing, but in that particular moment, it was the absolute nicest thing anyone could have done for us. He hadn't even said his wife wasn't feeling well, it was like she just magically knew. We drank the coke and ended up having a great time at the party, so I guess she threw a little Pixie Dust in there! My cold didn't really take hold until next day, when we were leaving anyway.
Yay Disney!
