Lovely pictures -and very interesting as this is one of the places we are considering for our next trip. How was the potato wrapped snapper?

It is a really good dish. I believe it is the signature item there. Beautifully cooked fish, wrapped in the thinnest of potato (we are talking a milimeter here), all over creamy leeks, with a great veal and red wine sauce. I would recommend it.

Yes! A Flying Fish thread. Just brought up how much I loved it on another thread the other day.

We tried the cheese tasting, the crabcake appetizer, the pork tenderloin, which came with some killer mac and cheese with leek fondue. I can't wait to go back. The hubby and I pigged out on our honeymoon there last year.

As if that wasn't enough, we ordered a side of potatoes au gratin. Hands down, the best I have ever tasted in my life. And I try them anywhere that has them.

Oh, and my husband had a steak, but next visit I am making it my business to get that potato-wrapped snapper. Has to be a reason that people constantly rave about it and it has been on the menu for the longest, despite changes over the years.
