Well, we return home to the frozen midwest tomorrow. I must say that I expected problems with Magic Bands, and FP+ but it went quite well. The Fast passes we could get, (which usually weren't what we wanted), worked just like they were supposed to with very minimal wait. We skipped a few, because we were busy doing other things and just didn't want to HAVE to be there at that particular time.
My only issues were with the dining plan, as usual. Whatever line I was in to pay for food, anywhere, had someone using the dining plan and not understanding how it works. They would bring 3 magic bands to pay for someone else's meal, but not have their pin number, etc. We finally just bought cereal and milk and ate in our room because by the time I got through the checkout line with hot food, IT WASN'T!
Other than the dining plan, WHICH TOTALLY SUCKS, our trip was wonderful.
I hate planning, so we usually get on the bus that has the shortest line, and that worked well. We got to ride everything we wanted. We just waited in line, was only 30 minutes in and out for TS. Not bad. Had a FP for the Mine Train and that was awesome.
At HS our fave spot is the Tune-In Lounge for onion rings and beer, and the bartenders, Dave and Julie are great people. At MK, we tried Pecos Bills for the first time, and it was really good. We tried to do lots of things we haven't done before in the many trips we have taken, as this was our last trip to WDW and wanted to make it special.
But anyway, we had a GREAT trip and have enjoyed all of you here on this magic site. Probably won't be looking at it much longer, since I know we won't be going, but wish you all great trips like ours!
