I know these are special, but it does show that the sugar artists are able to sculpt characters...they're just not allowed to for regular consumer cakes and such 
Of course, some of these are the white chocolate toppers just painted and dressed up, but in others are clearly sculpted. I want the Alice egg!

I've wanted to do an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party for the girls and I thought edible tea cups might be a nice touch. These eggs offer a lot of nice inspiration for that as well. The idea is tabled for at least a little while b/c I have DH's bday cake in a couple of weeks and some potential client cakes coming up...none of which involve tea cups
Although one should be quite fun once I fine tune my concept.
