A Funny Thing Happened To Me @ Epcot

My g/f and I were browsing around Mousegear at Epcot. She went one way to look around and I went towards the pens/office supplies section. As I was walking over to see what they had in disney pens, I walked behind this girl to get closer to the pens. She turned around, grabbed my arm, and said, "I love disney.. it's so much fun." I looked at her and said, "I love Disney too, but I'm afraid you're mistaking me for your boyfriend." She quickly let go of my arm and as her face turned several different shades of red, she walked away. It was definitely a classic moment for me. :)

Ha ha, think yourself lucky, she could have said 'I love you!'

That would have been embarrasing!

that sounds a bit like what happened once to my friends and i....we were at WDW for our National Competition (FIRST robotics) and one of the guys would goof around a bit people's shoulders (not to hurt) and at AK he bit some other girl instead of one of us....i think his face changed to every shade of red and them went on to other colors....it was very funny and the other girl just looked at us a little funny and walked away

If that would've been the case, I would've asked, "Your room or mine?" :D :D

A few years ago my wife and I were at Typhoon Lagoon. Earlier in the day my contacts had been bothering me so I had popped them out and went with my glasses for the day. At Typhoon Lagoon I was afraid I would lose my glasses so I put them in the locker with the rest of our junk. So I was going blind at the water park. Being blind at the water parks also helps leadeth me not into temptation, if ya know what I mean (wink wink).

So we were drifting along that little river minding our own business, and we got separated. I was squinting looking around for my wife. I finally saw her I swam up behind her and just as I put my hands right on her hips. I heard my wife’s unmistakable British accent right behind me “LOU I AM OVER HERE”.

The woman I was now feeling up turned around and she looked down right frightened. I was trying to explain that I was not some pervert - just a blind idiot - when my wife swam up and got me off the hook. The woman laughed and even her husband thought it was funny. They totally understood and were really cool about it.

So now I never wear any contacts in any of the water parks. I just swim around and play grab a** all day. Then I calmly explain that I am not wearing my contacts. Just Kidding.

Hey Loucifr,

I like the Red Wings logo! That sound like a great story. I'll have to try it, even though I don't wear contacts!

Hey, for the money you spend on getting into the waterparks, sometimes water slides isn't enough.. you have to get a little added "something something" to make your stay worth while... LOL

ROFL that is too funny!

In 2000 I was in Cosmic Rays, after threw away my trash, I was walking to the table to get my grandmother and daughter together to leave. Some guy comes up behind me and hugs me and kisses my neck. I jump and elbow him in the ribs and he realizes I am not who he thought and starts apologizing 3 ways from Sunday. He said I looked like his wife-they had gotten into a fight and went their seperate ways in the park and it has been 4 hours since he saw her. Even though I was freaked out, I felt kinda bad for him! He was very embarrassed too the poor guy. I am just glad I didn;t have a tray full of food when he did it!

LOL, Hey Loucifr, I'm from Detroit also (a wee bit north of really.) Where do you live? I think there are around a 1/2 dozen or so of us on here.

I gathered that myself. I got a kick the other night when I saw you too were from Royal Oak. Anyway, nothing so exciting has ever happened to me while at WDW. Maybe this year? Or who knows, maybe when I'm with the "kids" at FIRST next year. :)

Dang, these stories make all my visits seem mundane and boring.
Time to work on a good stunt, the eyeglass thing would work. I have glasses that are pretty thick that w/o them I'm probably legally blind.

Keep these stories coming!

My trips to Disney have been quite "blah" up until my incident with the girl that grabbed my arm. ;)

I think I'll stand on top of Spaceship Earth with a pair of binoculars and look for her next time... ;) LOL
