First things first: I am in no way trying to endorse anybody sneaking into the park. I joined this forum because I've recently started remembering things about visiting Disney World when I was a kid. Something I always used to contemplate was the thrill of sneaking into Magic Kingdom, eluding security guards, and spending the day on attractions.

Considering how many people on these boards actually work at the parks, I figured this would be a perfect place to ask this question. How possible do you think it would be for someone to actually pull this off? And if so, what would be the best way to do it? It's just fun to imagine doing something like this.

My opinion is that the best way to sneak in would be from behind Space Mountain. Park at the Contemporary, walk along World Dr., slip into the woods, and sneak right in. I'm sure it's not that easy, but still exciting to imagine.

Any thoughts?

I believe Disney has more cameras in more places than we could ever imagine. That + the amount of regular clothed security guards that roam the parks - I'm sure that Disney security has thought of that. I'm sure there are security measures that would blow our minds.

Then again...I don't work there and I don't actually know. It could be that easy - but I highly doubt it.

I recall reading a story about sneaking into the parks in the book The Dark Side of Disney by Leonard Kinsey. In the book the author tells a story of how he and his friends went to Epcot on spring break with little funds and his friend decided to hop the turnstiles. He made it about 100 feet past the turnstiles when two plain clothed individuals asked the young man to come with them. The perp had been taken backstage finger printed and they took his name address and social he was then told he was no longer welcome on Disney property. He went back a few times after this; however; years later he was booking his honeymoon and speaking to guest relations. When he was asked to hold. Another voice came back on the line and asked him if he used to reside at a certain address not thinking he indicated that he had. The Guest Relations rep advised the man that he was not welcome on Disney grounds and if he was to be found there during the time period he was requesting he would be arrested for trespassing.

that would not be as easy as you imagine. Do you think you just walk into the wood and boom Space Mountain???
