As most of you already know, I am currently working on my proposal for a 6th Disney theme park resort. In my last draft, I added a few more rides and attractions to my Disney Studios park. However, a couple of the attractions, Hook's Revenge and Lilo & Stitch's Hawaiian Roller Coaster, didn't seem to fit into my studios park. For instance, Hook's Revenge was a bit too carnival like for a movie studio-themed park. I am considering a third park eventually, once everything in this park moves in the right direction in terms or profits and park attendance.
Originally, my plan for a third park was a combination water park and Paradise Pier-like dry ride park. However, that turned out to be too weak sounding. I then considered placing these two rides mentioned above in a DisneySea type park (similar to the park in Tokyo). Upon further research and looking into the idea, I learned that DisneySea was more adult-oriented, and had to do with the sea, as well as being more entertainment related; as opposed to California Adventure, which focuses on the state of California, and is movie and thrill-ride related.
For my third park, if/when it gets built, I was trying to come up with something that all of these rides (Hook's Revenge, L&S Hawaiian Roller Coaster; as well as rides such as Jumpin Jellyfish, The Whirlpool, Soarin' over (name of park's location), etc. could fit into while creating a well-themed and well-designed 3rd park that would attract guests. IMHO, even California Adventure seems to be a tad on the weak side!
I had considered a combination of DisneySea and Paradise Pier from CA, but unfortunately, I kept coming up with clashing of very different themes in the rides and attractions. Also, I'm not sure that a California Adventure-like park minus the studios (which are in a separate park) could hold its own at all. I could go back to my original plan; which was a combination Disney Studios and Paradise Pier, but that turned out weaker than any of the other ideas I had listed here!
BTW, Hook's Revenge and Lilo & Stitch's Hawaiian Roller Coaster are two rides I really wanted to place somewhere in my park. Trouble is, I can't find anywhere for them!
If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, and/or guidelines for my 3rd park, PLEASE post; since I really could your your help and feedback. I really do look forward to hearing from you!
