A-E TICKET ATTRACTIONS

Don't they internally still refer to attractions by A-E ticket? It's just not advertised. @marni1971

@marni1971 answered that here...

Attractions still receive a designation class when being designed. Nothing to do with "tickets". It’s an industry term born of old but now used to describe the scale, cost, size and investment of a project. It’s also a standard that’s quite immeasurable with no solid, defined borders.

Note: moved to a more germane thread heeding @The Mom 's warning.

Can't a ride just be a ride judged on it's own merits and not lumped together with others rides from decades previously?

Yeah! Let's stamp out Ticketism!!

;)

Seriously though, how do you judge a ride in a vacuum? It would be like judging a piece of art or a new song without any reference or knowledge of all of art history or one's own bias steeped in (supposedly for us) Western history of music.

The ticket classifications are not limited to Disney. They have become an industry-wide terminology. Even Universal discusses their attractions using the Disney ticket system.

I completely see WDW returning to a pay for play system.

I would imagine a solid but appealing entry fee. Lets say $48.

Everything after is rfid pay of you want to ride. Mark my words friends.
