A Disney Thank you

Just received a "thank you" flier in the mail from Disney. We stayed in the Wilderness Lodge in August. The flier states they hope we made "lost of wonderful memories on this vist". It was signed (stamped) by the GM of the Wilderness. Has anyone else gotten one of these? We have stayed in WDW many times and this is a first for us.
Also included were 6 cards to give to family and friends so they can request their own vacation planning video.

We've never gotten one, at least not one my father told me about. Did you have any problems? Maybe if you had a problem they wanted to insure your happiness.

We stayed in the Lodge not the villas, the same as always. We never had a problem or contacted any CMs. The flier is addressed with our family name. Didn't do the DVC thing either.

We got a thank you for staying at WL too. Only one problem ... we stayed at Old Key West. Our reservation was originally for WL but changed it so we could stay longer.

We stayed in Coronado and got a e-mail when we got home that had a "disney-matic" it's a little program where you type in your name and it stiches it on a hat and you can print it out.

I'm a Florida resident and annual pass holder and I've never gotten one of those. I've stayed at a Disney hotel every year since 1990 too. Sometimes I've stayed a couple of times a year.

My guess would be that the 6 cards to give to family and friends is the real key. This sounds like a marketing deal. Maybe Disney is finally loosening up the purse strings a little so that they can market their product a little more actively.

 We've never gotten that before. But when we stay at Fort Wilderness, we always get something in the mail a few weeks later where my mom goes online to fill out a survey or something. We never get interesting things. lol.

Yep!

We get one every time we stay. Usually it is accompanied by a request to go online and take a Customer Satisfaction Survey.

I'm happy to take the survey, but you get absolutely nothing for the 20 minutes or so it takes to provide good feedback. My feedback is always that the program they use for their surveys is lousy! It takes forever to go from one question to the next!

I have gotten the previously mentioned "Disney-Matic" email too, but not every time. The personalized Mickey Mouse ears you can print out are cute.

I have a feeling we keep getting them because we always give positive feeedback!

Thats possible. We have never been asked to take any survey so that can't be it. We usually have good experiences so my feedback would be positive. Oh, well...Thanks for all the answers.
