A Couple of Questions About Columbus Day Weekend

Good Morning,

Me & my girlfriend are headed back to WDW on October 6th of this year for MNSSHP and coming home the night of October 9th. We couldnt be more excited! Below you will see some questions i have in regards to my trip:

1. How are the crowds and weather during Columbus Day weekend usually?

2. I plan on being in Magic Kingdom the day of MNSSHP, before the party starts and i already have tickets for MNSSHP. How would I have my party tickets scanned if I am already in the Magic Kingdom?

3. We are landing at MCO around 8:40am and we should be in the Magic Kindgom by 11:00am or so. I plan on proposing to my girlfriend on Main Street, with the dopest backdrop in the world as the setting. Does anybody recommend a specific time that I should pop the question on Main Street? I know Main Street typically clears right before the parade, but I am not sure what time they start re-directing people to the sidewalks. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Columbus weekend is very busy. Our wedding anniversary is 10/09 and we are usually there on that date. Go to Kenny the Pirate: he has crowd estimates and patterns seen historically. He’s pretty much on the mark.

If your gonna pop the question, just make sure the castle is behind her and the sun is behind you for the best photo op. If you’re staying on property, call ahead and resort staff will help you set up something special. Congratulations!
