A couple Incredables questions

Okay, here's a few things I didn't realize until a couple of days after I saw the movie. Who did the guy ( who did the voice for Hamm in Toy story PT Flea in a bugs life and voices in every other pixar movie ) do the voice for in this movie? I didn't hear him. He said he would do a voice of a character in one preview. And are there any refrences to any past Pixar films like they always do in their movies? I didn't spot any.

1. According to the IMDB, he (name is John Ratzenberger) did the voice of Underminer....I don't seem to remember a character of that name however....

2. Not sure about that one....was looking for references myself.

I was told that there was a Finding Nemo hint in there at one point AND a tribute to Frank and Ollie. I can't wait to see the film and find out for myself!

Ooh! The Underminer was the bad guy with the buck teeth at the very end of the movie. Geez, almost a cameo. Hardly noticed that it was his voice.

And Grizz, the Frank and Ollie Tribute is at the end during the credits. Its nothing muh, but it says thanks to them. I think there might be more, but I don't know.

 

[Legacy]

None of the film is really utilized for the inside jokes that Pixar typically uses. Jack-Jack could have played with some of the Toy-Story characters, but that's already been done. Maybe Flick is the jungle at some point? The only thing I think might be possible is in Edna's aquarium. But I didn't see any clownfish, so it would have be one of the other fish in there.

Cool! I was talking to my wife after we left the movie how it was the first Pixar feature with no John Ratzenberger! I will have to listen closely when I go see it again

I think there might be something in the scene when the purse snatcher dumps the contents out and is looking through it towards the beginning of the film. I focused in on the Pez dispenser but I think that was Mr Incredible on it. There may be something else in there though

john ratzenberger didnt have a huge part in finding nemo either... of course, you could TELL he was in the movie...but only for those 5 minutes.
i cant wait to see this movie!! maybe this weekend!
