Okay..So originally we were going to stay at POF however, free dining came out today for the month of October. And the hotel we are booked at is not on the list and is excluded from the offer.

We are changing our reservations because all the other moderate resorts are booked FULL at the time we are going. So we are now planning to make reservations at Pop Century Resort.

Im asking this because I have never stayed at PC before and, because I have a horrible phobia of hotel beds..(yes I'm very aware I could stay at home in my nice safe, clean bed). My Question is This:

Can you request a rollaway bed or, a pull out bed of some sort?

I've never had a problem with this request at POF.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is room for that at Pop. It's a really small room. I've read online where people have done it, and I guess it's one of those first come, first served kind of things. Still, where would you put it?

I would also contact WDW directly and/or your travel agent. Last year on July 30 we booked our October FDP week trip with our travel agent. When we searched the WDW website to get a ballpark price and resort availability the site said that not a single Coronado Springs Resort room was available. We called our travel agent who set it up and lo and behold CSR was a virtual ghost town and we got our room there without any problem and we actually got the whole trip about $300 cheaper (including the insurance) than what was listed on the WDW website.

Yes the Pop rooms are way too small. What other resorts are available? Was CSR? That is a nice resort or were the Mods completely off the list?

French Quarter is actually excluded from the free dining promotion =(
Offer excludes:
  • Campsites
  • 3-Bedroom Villas
  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
  • The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

I believe you can request a rollaway bed at Pop, but it's probably first come first serve. Could you maybe bring a small air mattress for yourself?

Last time I checked the only moderate resort that's available is POF which is excluded from the dining plan. We could stay at a deluxe but, we don't want to spend the money because, we are never in the hotel room. All-Star Movies and, Art Of Animation are also excluded from the free dining offer. So the options are Pop Century,All-Star Music and, All-Star Sports.

Coronado Springs is a valid resort.

We called to try to make reservations at any of the moderate resorts. However, they had no rooms at any of the moderate resorts available for how long we are staying. The only available moderate is POF which is excluded from the free dining plan offer.

Sorry :( How many people do you have traveling? I understand the icky feeling of hotel beds. Why not pack some of your own sheets and a blanket? Or get some inexpensive sheets wash the heck out of them and throw them away at the end of your stay?

Hey! That's not a bad idea! I just might do what you said and, bring my own sheets and, toss them when we get home. Oh, and there will be 4 of us traveling.

I had family who had 3 adults in a room at Pop. They requested a rollaway bed and got one. Yes, it made it tight in the room, but it worked. We live Pop and would recommend it over the All-stars any day! Have fun on your trip. We are headed to Pop in a few weeks and can't wait!

I to was booked at POFQ and switched to Pop Century so I could get the fall room only discount. No rooms available at POFQ. I had a room and just wanted to apply the discount, but no they wouldn't do it. I have stayed at Pop before and like it. I like their food court. The beds to me are fine, the room a bit small but for saving $550.00 I can deal with that.
