This is a story for those of you who know "singers" of today in the rap world. My brother just turned 21 today and called one of his good friends at the Chicago radio station 103.5 KISS FM. Now KISS FM is a national station and is pretty popular among teens and is growing to be pretty popular among adults these days too.
So Jeff (my brother) calls Skylar who works at the station and she was busy getting ready to put someone on air. She told Jeff to hold on for a second and the next voice he heard was none-the-other Ludacris himself. He wanted to wish Jeff a happy 21st birthday and hoped he's having a good new year. Now Jeff doesn't like talking on the phone that much and is one of those people that gets star-struck. Of course, he didn't know what to say but "Thank you, I love you music so much." He also stated something along the lines of how it was a great birthday gift.
Just thought I'd share that birthday surprise with everyone else. It's not like getting Goofy or someone to sing Happy Birthday to you, but to him, it was just as magical.
Now, if only someone would do that for me on my birthday! :animwink:
