A big Snowstorm hits Columbus,ohio

Late last night a huge Snowstorm Dumped 4-8 inches of snow on Columbus, Ohio causing many events to be cancelled for the day. The snow started around midnight and ended around 8 A.M. Winter Storm warnings are in efect until 6 P.M. But a second storm will bring an aditional 4-6 inches on top of the 4-8 we have now. Good news we will be warming up by the middle of this comming week. with temps in the 40's the snow will be gone by the end of this comming week.

i always hate when i hear ohio had bad weather (i have a friend in OH and he gives me the heads up)

Ohio weather always hits us a few days after :-/
maybeeee we'll have a snow day next week (thats all i can think of to be good about snow)
oh well hopefully it'll all melt soon!

Well I live North of columbus,just east of cleveland and the storm didn`t hit us thankfully!

I live in the Cincinnati area, and we got hit on Sat. with ice, the roads are a mess, we are supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow on top of that Sun. and MOn. We had to cancel our son's christening that was to take place today, because of the roads. Now what do I do with 40 lbs of barbecue, 20 lbs of Mac and Cheese, 20 lbs of baked beans, a 1/2 barrel of beer?

You got our snow!!. It has been so dry this winter in Chicago, We are so behind on snowfall this season all we have is frozen grass with no snow,

Funny analogy..... here in Dayton last night, with 8-10 inches on the ground and 15 degrees, we grilled out steaks! Still waiting on the next band to hit sometime late this afternoon into the evening!

Boy you Southern,Ohio people sure are getting hit! That`s unusual cause we usually get hit bad,but we haven`t had any new snow in 3 days,THANK GOD!:lol:

Delaware OH checking in here. We had 8 inches yestreday should get another 6-8 today. I would complain but I'm getting too much enjoyment playing with my 2 1/2 year old daughter in the snow. She's loving it.

If anyone remembers the blizzard here of '78, they say we are getting more snow than that, it's just the winds aren't as bad....the snow started again around 5:00 and it's still going strong.

GOSH!~ Nothing compares to the blizzard of 78! We are getting some snow now,not a blizzard mind you just some snow fall.

Oh No! It's snowing up here now, too!!! Ooh, please, no snow. It's such a catch-22 for me. See, college classes will be cancelled, and I'll have to shovel, or they won't be cancelled and I'll still have to shovel. NO SNOW, PLEASE!!!
