A better way to do the Toontown coaster

Having seen the scale model of the new Toontown to come, I find it disappointing that Donald's Boat will no longer be accessible, just a prop. It doesn't even seem like Donald has any property in Toontown at all, just that it will be a companion piece to Goofy's House. Of course the old Birnbaum guide claims that his actual residence is in Duckburg, but since the guide no longer says that, it's neither here nor there.

Meanwhile, while it's hard to tell from the scale model (and I should have asked about it when I was there), a sign at the edge, which has the name of the kiddie coaster on it (it's not in the model) supposedly renames it to Chip 'n' Dale's Gadget Coaster. I'm guessing that with the treehouse as good as gone, the chipmunks needed some form of representation in the land, and since no one really knows who Gadget is, save for those who remember "Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers" (which admittedly can be found on Disney Plus), then why not just give the theme of the coaster to them? All fine and dandy, except...

It's not like Donald's Boat has been a proper attraction in a long, long time, but with its diminished significance, I find it sad that Donald's representation in the land has been diminished as well.

That's why I've thought of increasing Donald's significance in the land by way of his nephews and a new theme for the coaster. The boat will remain, but it will be more of an RV than a real home, parked in the duck pond as it is.

More to come. Stay tuned!

This is for @spacemt354, @MickeyMouse10 and @Evilgidgit...

As stated earlier, Donald's boat will no longer be Donald's actual residence, but more of an RV of sorts (except it's a boat). The duck pond of his will be in his backyard. His real house will be off to the side. It too will inaccessible, except as just a facade, but you will be able to access his garage, where the ride is set. It will look somewhat like how his house does in the game "Mickey's Racing Adventure" (where the other houses incidentally look like those at Disneyland):

The concept for the new coaster is based around those backyard roller coasters that have become so popular lately. Donald had built this for Huey, Dewey and Louie, after they designed it and then presented the design to their uncle, who only built it begrudgingly as a way to keep them out of his way.

The load area (once the load area for Gadget's) is Donald's house's garage. Here, the designs for the ride are set up. Along one wall are a bunch of license plates similar to those in the Roger Rabbit queue, all themed around various Disney things. These include (but are not limited to):
-PU N TGGR
-MAD HAT R
-NEVRLND
-0 2 HRO
-RSQRS
-ANA N LSA

The ride will be called Huey, Dewey and Louie's Rocket Ruckus, after a short featured on the old "MouseWorks" show.

What do you think?

Sounds great, it seems like a better idea than the Chip and Dale coaster. You'd figure Donald and Goofy would get more love in Toontown. Even if they only got simple off the shelf rides.

Hey that gives me an idea. They should just move Goofy's Sky School over to Disneyland. It doesn't seem to fit DCA anymore anyways.

Unfortunately, there's no room for it in Toontown. At least Goofy's house should still be accessible when all is said and done. I personally would have gone with redoing his house like the Paint 'n' Playhouse thing they have in Tokyo, but whatever.

Or maybe the theme of the coaster could be Donald and Goofy together, since their properties are so close to each other anyway. I'm not sure how to pull that off, though.

I had initially just considered having the entrance to Donald's home be an inaccessible facade, but then I thought of having it be a new queue for this new version of the coaster. It would likely go over by where Chip 'n' Dale's Treehouse once stood. I believe that when the Barnstormer coaster was redone for the Storybook Circus retheme, they swapped out the entrance and exits of the ride. I was thinking of doing the same thing here. Maybe in keep with the theme of the now-diminished boat nearby, the house could be a boathouse of sorts. I'm pretty sure there might be some room for this since the alleged planned connection from Toontown to Galaxy's Edge would be too long to be worth it.
