News Temporary Suspension of Boat Transportation at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Starting May 2026

Disney says the boat dock at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will undergo routine maintenance starting May 11 through late June, 2026.

From May 11 through June 5, the dock will be closed and boat transportation temporarily suspended.

They really need to get better at providing way longer notice for these. Thats Wilderness and Poly that have now both only had a few weeks notice. Bit crummy if you're staying there and don't know about it as normally any sort of maintenance is listed on the booking pages prior to paying.

But yes I agree. I intentionally did not stay at Pop because of scheduled skyliner maintenance.

Can’t help but wonder if it’s intentional so they don’t scare anyone away. I agree it’s not fair to guests though.

Far bigger factor at Wilderness than the Poly though in my opinion.
