Ate @ Sci-Fi on the last trip in December. Wasn't that crowded. The nice CM took our order, Hawaiian burger and a chicken cordon Bleu. The sandwiches arrived within 4 minutes. Like they were sitting there waiting for someone to order them. They were under-cooked and the DW and I had our stomachs later that night inform us that we shouldn't eat there again! Just food for thought!

Ditto! We went there a couple of trips back. I remember when you couldn't get a seat there for neither love nor money. We didn't have a problem getting a reservation. The food was blecch! to say the least. Mrs. P had a salad and I had a burger. Kinda hard to screw that up. Now I don't know if it was a coincidence or what but later that night Mrs P had tummy trouble big time. Like 24 hr big time. More food for thought!

I am convinced all this is prepped off site and brought it and thrown on a plate. Serving raw rubber fake chicken is inexcusable. They should be going back to the style and theme of menu they had when they opened, this new one just doesn't fit in either but lets hope its somehow an improvement in quality. Sci fi has become the worst on property. Yet they are getting away with it and price gauging it. Isn't the ice cream and shakes no longer made either but all prepackaged? It's pathetic Disney...... The Plaza at MK is becoming the same as well though its still not as bad, yet.

Sad to hear about the quality…. Haven’t eaten at sci-fi since I was a kid. good memories!

How’s 50’s doing?

If I’m going to splurge at DHS I usually go for Brown Derby - love the classic Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake!

Our upcoming trip back will be the first one in years where we did not include it in our ADR list. The previous time dining there we were underwhelmed by the menu choices and the quality of food we received. Dining there on many occasions in the past, we always looked forward to the meals and enjoyed the unique atmosphere but decided to take a pass this time and dine elsewhere. Too bad.

Interesting, but some of these dont fit the theme all that well. I personally like polenta - but is this drive-in style food? When these black and white movies were shown, polenta was only eaten in mostly poor immigrant Italian households (before American menus made it a trendy food). Also, are they really making 'housemade sausage' inside the Sci-Fi somewhere?

Make it elevated drive in food - gourmet burgers, quality fried chicken - through in some salads and bowls even if that streches the theme. Fried pickles and fun apps. Charge us for it fine, but make it fit.

the menu fits about how the lakeshore lodge fits on top of fort wilderness. Management is clueless.
