here’s my go-to’s

- the Starbucks at the Marketplace has the coolest employees ever.

- Polite Pig is crazy good. why go anywhere else!?

- Salt & Straw Ice Cream is incredible. I’ve been to Salt & Straw locations in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Anaheim (shocker) - love them so much.

- Earl of Sandwich is a classic go to but last few times I’ve been a bit disappointed. Maybe just bad luck?

- blaze pizza - the “build your own” let’s you add as many toppings as you want - a great deal!

- Drawn to Life is a great show - I’ve seen it twice so far. If you’re a fan of Disney Animation and high quality live entertainment productions you really should experience it.

I really miss having some sort of entertaining venue on the site. The entertainment provided by performers around the property is good but it's not the same as going into a building with the intention that you will be entertained. The gospel brunch at The House of Blues is one such that we always book.
The restaurants, TS and QS, are top notch and there is such a variety of food and drinks that anyone can find something to love. Rarely do we leave unsatisfied by the food and service.
It does surprise me that those small kiosks do enough business to stay around. I see a lot of browsing guests but not as many paying customers.
Drawn to Life is a good show... The original Cirque show at DS was better. Most Cirque shows are fabulous, Drawn to Life isn't as good as most.
It surprises me that with the number of people constantly moving around at DS that it seems to stay cleaner than the parks. Why is that?
We always plan to arrive at DS early in the morning, and try avoiding the weekends, to be able to shop before the heavier crowds pile in from the outside.

Awesome list. I’ve only seen a Cirque show on tour, and it was spectacular so maybe I’ll get around to doing Drawn to Life!

Good food picks!

I might add:

Morimoto Asia is genuinely spectacular. Raglan Road right next to it is a great choice too. The Edison is such a vibe late night, I am a sucker for Ghirardelli too😂

World of Disney is a must-do just for a quick visit every time!

I sort of want to do T-Rex again and relive my childhood nostalgia.

Man is walking around The Landing is so nice, and I’m glad they added more of a shopping district too.

Walking around at night to me is some of the top tier Disney vibes, like ever.

I do need to check it out… I almost went twice on my last trip and both times I walked up, looked at the menu and said “is this going to be better than polite pig?” And turned around haha.
I am a sucker for Ghirardelli too
I love the history of Ghirardelli and San Francisco and all…. But salt and straw is so much better and is cheaper too!

I think one of the most underrated spots in all of Disney World is Goofy's Candy Co. When I did my CP, we dubbed it Goofy's Cra*k House because the create your own bar is ridiculously addicting. Every Thursday we would go get custom caramel apples, and take our "coffee mugs" into the AMC to see a movie. It's incredibly nostalgic for me, and a must do every trip.

The cake decorating class at Amorette's Patisserie is a bucket list experience I really want to do. I just wish it wasn't so early, getting up before 8 on a "rest" day feels criminal to me.

Popped in one night with my wife and sat down thinking it's ok but won't stay too long. Next thing there's a burlesque show started with ladies in fishnet stockings dancing and singing, we stayed longer than planned :D

It’s terrific.

What I imagined Galaxy Edge’s dinner show was “sort of” going to be like.

I have always loved the original Marketplace area. It's evolved over the years, but I still like the feel there more than the newer areas. I always go into the Tea & Spice shop just to enjoy the aroma.

Of all the stuff in the newer areas, Giddeon's is my favorite. The coffee cake cookie is worth all the hype (and the wait!)
Same it’s cool they’ve kept it. Marketplace also has nice entertainment usually and World of Disney / Lego Store combo make it must do every time just to check out what’s new.

I love all the sub areas. I guess West Side is my least favorite, but hopefully they’ll add a fifth area to the left/above of it.

Would really activate that area.
