Can you still get paid for sitting through a DVC presentation?

A few years ago, I got paid $200 for sitting through a vacation club presentation. Is that offer still going on? I'll be there in September and would do it again.

Last I went it was $50 each person and my fiance and I went and loved it. It was super no pressure, we got free snacks, and they took us wherever we wanted after and sent us some small gifts for Christmas.

$50 or $200.... If you want to value that time sitting and listening to a pitch, as worth it. It's your vacation and the cost of your park ticket loses value by taking you away from the parks than enjoying your time. Personally I'd rather be doing anything fun in a park instead of being pitched a DVC offer. Be ready to get numerous calls and mailings from DVC sellers trying to convince you to take a deal after you get home.

I only do it on my hotel days already built in. They take you right from your hotel and can drop you right off back. Then you can just go in the pool etc.

Yup did it last year, four of us, got $200 each. Email with the gift card was receive mid way through mr tight pants telling us how amazing the value of riviera is. We were there ~45 mins (would've been half an hour but we had a rather chatty person in our party). Was shown the riviera and poly tower room mockups, had a bunch of figures thrown in front of us and then one of us just said "Oh, we were really interested in Saratoga" which shut the whole conversation down.

It was worth it for us as:

A) We were genuinely curious what the rooms looked like
B) It was early afternoon - we never stay in a park for the afternoon, so wasn't eating into any park time
C) I wanted to justify buying an Epcot cookie jar 👀

That reminds me of the time we went to the big presentation when Bay Lake Tower was opening up. They took us and the entire large group to the Contemporary convention center and then to tour BLT. At the end of the tour, they took us up to the lounge and asked if we were ready to purchase. We said nope and they told us to have a nice day.

We had done it once back in mid 2010's. We were going to disney several times a year and legitimately wanted to see what it was about and what it would cost, etc.

We got $100 Disney Gift Card (each), 3 fast passes each (any attraction) and when they dumped us out of the presentation/sit down they had an ice cream parlor set up (Saratoga Springs) and that was included.

All in all it was low pressure and I appreciated how they conducted themselves throughout. We did get some follow up calls down the line, but nothing crazy.

I got $250 during Marathon Weekend to talk with a rep (Olivia) at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I like talking Disney and DVC, and we didn't have park tickets, so it was actually a nice way to add some structure to our day (and to help pay for race registration).
