Happily Ever After Music from Contemporary Balcony

If you've watched Happily Ever After from your balcony room at the Contemporary, did you find a way to hear the music? The only way I can think would be to have the soundtrack on your phone and try to time it to the beginning of the show.

Additionally, if you are talking about the Grand concourse balcony, they play it over speakers, and if you can’t get to the small area that is inside the monorail loop, I suggest climbing the Bay Lake Emergency stairs 3-4 levels to get above the monorail beam, you’ll still hear the music, and get a non obstructed view.

Haven't had a balcony room at the Contemporary Resort, but did watch Wishes (several years ago!) from the observation deck at the Contemporary. It was awesome! Hope you enjoy it from your room's balcony!

I used to do this way back in the day but not sure it’s wise to suggest it now? Security has gotten much more strict and it seems Disney could count that as entering an unauthorized area if they wanted to.

The public areas at Polynesian and Grand are much better and also play the music!

It’s been 2 years since I did that but from what I can recall there are no doors between the balcony and those stairs. I plan to do that again this October when I’m staying there, unless they stop me (which I would of course comply with.)

As others have said, I think you can play it through the TV. I always have the soundtrack downloaded on my phone juuuust in case whenever I’m watching from a beach though, have been to MK resort beaches plenty of times when the music was out/broken!

PS: If you’re using your phone, use the small rooftop fireworks and/or lights to help you sync the music. The large fireworks are not as precise.
