The fact that you say "Impressions de France" specifically makes me wonder if an updated movie will replace the current one. If it were up to me, it would be the same music and same visuals (usually landscapes and old architecture without people) where practicable except where the scene is obviously dated (e.g. wedding, bike ride, beach goers, train passengers).![]()

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along also has no show times listed beyond February 22. It's unclear whether the sing-along will continue during the refurbishment or if the entire theater will be closed. The fact that you say "Impressions de France" specifically makes me wonder if an updated movie will replace the current one. It is awful, but I'm okay if it lives on for a few hours a day for the kiddos, but it should mostly take a back seat to an updated Impressions. The sing along is objectively awful.

But genuinely worried now with this news for Impressions. The sing along is garbage, I don't think there is any new France film in the works we would have heard something. Either this space rips out the theater and is refurbished into something else,,,,or its just maintenance work in some form and both shows will return or, this is the end of Impressions and will be nothing but the rotten sing along from here on out. Some accountant has probably said why are we running two shows here...I don't think the show is going anywhere with this refurb.Maybe Vahle thinks this too is underutilized. But genuinely worried now with this news for Impressions. I sure hope you are right. Though preserving long beloved parts of EPCOT hasn't exactly been their specialty over the past few decades.I don't think the show is going anywhere with this refurb.
Not sure where to begin with this response:
I have a trip planned for my 50th birthday, while I will be in MK on my actual 50th (April 9) one of my Must-Dos is to watch Impressions de France at least a few times while we are there. It is my favorite show - music, visuals, it's the whole shebang! I really hope this is back operating while we are there. I do know it is old, but I will truly be disappointed if they remove it altogether. Now, IF they do replace it with another show of its caliber (ideally the same music or close to it) it would be a great Birthday present. But since I don't recall even a rumor, I doubt it will be that.
See you all real soon - April 6 - 13
Will be legitimately crushed if Impressions isn't available when I'm there week of 3/9. Everyone has their little things they love to do at Disney, and for me this film is one of them. We love starting the day and ending the night with such a relaxing / soothing film
As these posters have said, Impressions de France is one of my all time favorite parts about EPCOT. Really the last remnant of what existed when the park opened, it is truly a classic at this point and deserves to be around until at least EPCOT's 50th. There is something so wonderful to me when going to the theater and sitting down to see the show. I actually just listened to the movie's soundtrack in the car and I could visualize all the scenes that acompany the beautiful music.Hope the show remains, we always go and see it, it's classic epcot to me! It is insanely dated though and in reality doesn't reflect modern France at all.
