Free Dining & Drinks showing on Disney Europe site but not honored by Disney USA — does this offer actually exist in the US?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping some US-based members or frequent planners can help clarify something, because I’m running into conflicting information between Disney Europe and Disney USA.

On the European Disney site (DisneyHolidays / Disney World Europe) there is currently a promotion advertised as “FREE Dining & Drinks” for 2026, not the kids-only dining offer. This is presented as a full dining promotion tied to vacation packages, not “kids eat free”.

According to the European site, the conditions are:
  • Book a Walt Disney World vacation package
  • Minimum 4-night stay at a participating Disney Resort hotel
  • Add Park Hopper tickets for at least 4 days
  • Arrivals between May 1 and October 4, 2026
  • Book by March 31, 2026
  • Dining & drinks included as part of the package (gratuities excluded)
This looks very similar in structure to traditional Free Dining offers Disney has run in the past, just branded as Free Dining & Drinks.

Here’s where the confusion starts:

I called Disney USA directly to ask whether this offer exists on the US side, or whether it can be applied to reservations made through Disney USA because I have USA reservation. The answer I received was very clear:

“That promotion does not apply to US bookings and is not available through Disney USA.”

They confirmed the Kids Eat Free (ages 3–9) offer for 2026, but said there is no general Free Dining or Free Dining & Drinks offer for US guests at this time.

So my questions for the community are:
  1. Does this Free Dining & Drinks offer actually exist in the US market at all, even if geo-locked or not yet public?
  2. Has anyone in the US been able to see or book this offer through Disney USA or an authorized US travel agent?
  3. Is this simply a Europe-only (UK/EU) promotion marketed differently by Disney Travel Company International?
  4. Historically, have we seen cases where Disney Europe had a Free Dining-style offer that never crossed over to the US market?
I understand markets are handled separately, but what’s confusing is that the offer is clearly branded as Free Dining & Drinks and applies to Walt Disney World in Florida, yet Disney USA says it doesn’t exist for US bookings.

Any insight from US planners, agents, or people who’ve seen this play out before would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It is very common for the offers through the UK site to be different to the US site.

WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Company) is just a travel agent. Disney owns it, and it is the official booking site here (UK). But it has completely different packages to those booked through the US site.

You will not be able to add this to a package booked through the US site.

This has always been the case.

Now whether a US resident can book via the UK site using a vpn, I don’t know. Anyone resident in the UK or EU can book these deals, thanks to EU laws.

So the answers to questions 3 & 4 are both Yes.

Disney FREE dining / specials pop up in the USA when Dis sees a heavy drop in numbers and feels they must do something to get guests booking and avert a huge revenue loss.
For forever its been though ... lets give special attention to UK, EU travelers to entice them in for more bookings. Typically they will spend more days on Dis property therefore be bigger spenders.

1. No, it does not exist on bookings made through the US website. You may be able to book it through the UK website.
2. No, it cannot be added or booked through the US website or US travel agents. The UK site is technically a travel agent so bookings for this offer must be made through them.
3. Correct, it is only offered in Europe. US offers are not available to guests in Europe unless they use a VPN to buy through the US website.
4. Yes, pretty much every year there are offers available in Europe/UK that are not offered in the US. Also, the UK site allows bookings earlier than dates are opened in the US.
