@wdwmagic the article said they're doing the 2 night room/ticket promo again, I can't seem to recall when they last did it.

Last year the limited time promo was Free Dining, if booked before early February. They're not doing that this year and replaced it with the 2 free nights and tickets promo. Everything else looks to be on a similar schedule and type as the promotions launched in January of 2025.

They don't want a repeat of 2025.

You may experience larger savings depending on how the promotion is structured with the "Free Days" as Friday and Saturday nights are typically more expensive than Sunday-Thursday rack rates. Meaning if you end your trip on a Sunday, your free nights would be Friday and Saturday.

People should also compare to the discounted rates that are coming out, not to rack rate. Deluxe 30% might be better deal than depending on how the free days/ticket offer is set up.

The savings for tickets alone would be $100 per person for a base level ticket. (no tax included)

This offer works better for parties of 3 or more sharing a deluxe room who also needs tickets.

For 6 Nights a party of 4 using a room only discount and separate tickets will cost.
$3568 is a 30% discounted room + $3012 Base Tickets = $6580

Even with a single occupancy, you still will wind up with a slightly better deal by using the 4+2 package vs Room only discount.

For AP, the room only discount, coupled with not needing admission tickets means the 4+2 deal is not work.

Bottom line, it is something that can save guests more money as compared to the free dining offer from 2025. But it is still quite expensive when you total in all factors such as transportation, food, room, tickets, merch, extras.

I’m wondering how they are going to determine the 2 free days. Will it be the last 2 days of the trip or the two cheapest days and make you pay for the most expensive days (Thurs-Sat)? If the latter, it cuts into some savings.

Also consider people buy tickets from discounted sources that might also save some money than direct through Disney. Or there could be summer ticket offers that when paired with room discounts may be better. We don’t know that yet though…

Be a good walking money-dispensing meatsack and just whip out your credit card and stop all this logical thinking stuff. The MAGIC!!! is MOAR MAGICAL!!! that way.

IIRC, this is the first time they’ve done anything like this since 2009? We took advantage of that one. 7 nights for the price of 4. Don’t think there were any free tickets like there are with this one, just the 3 free nights.

Maybe they’ll just average the rate across the 6 (or more) nights and then take off 2 of the nights.

Meanwhile, across the country, I got an email promoting 3 different ways to save on a visit to DLR: 1) SoCal ticket deal, 2) discount on hotel, 3) new lower down payment for Magic Key/annual pass.

The Costco DL ticket deal for the 70th has become a victim of “yield management”.

2025 DL ticket deal - $449:

3-day park hopper
LLMP
PhotoPass (I think)
$30 dining gift card

2026 DL ticket deal - $389:

2-day park hopper
LLMP
