EPCOT Beverage Kiosk Replaced at Norway Pavilion

I love the glow up these carts are getting across World Showcase lately. The gelato cart in Italy and now here in Norway really add to the pavilions and elevate the immersion. Plus they're better for the Cast Members with Florida's rain and sun. This feels like an all around improvement. Can't wait to see the finished job.

I can’t wait to visit Norway or Italy someday and shop at their streetside kiosks.

What I like about this is they are improving the aesthetics of an area in World Showcase that they absolutely did not need to do. They are spending some budget on this. Guaranteed this would have made money if it was just a standard cart. But they are making it fit the area it is intended to be in.

I will take improvements anywhere in these parks, in either a macro or micro sense. It’s what I love about the Tokyo parks. Everything fits. Every theme is enhanced and compounded upon. It’s embarrassing to admit but my OCD flares up when I see unthemed carts in heavily themed locations.

This goes right along with the new Cool Ship structure in Future World. That is a bit more plussed up than it could have been, and it is stylized to fit the location. I hope to see more of this. I think I saw somewhere that there is decorative walkway dividers that have been put in at the Mexico Pavilion? It was suggested that they could be putting these in the grounds in between the different countries. More aesthetics, more design, more enhancing of things that arguably might not need it (and doesn’t really cost very much) are all good things.

Now if they would just turn their attention to Communicore Hall and the garden area…

I strive to get my (regular) news from all types of sources...when I stumble on "Disney" news it's a bonus 🏆

Sher calls viral stories of bad behavior "embarrassing" and out of step with what the park is meant to be. Even the more party-minded veterans frame it as a "marathon, not a sprint," advising breaks, food, water, and pacing—plus a controversial strategy tweak: Start in more-subdued Canada, end with Mexico's high-energy tequila scene.

Yeah, it's just awful how people ignore the real spirit of Epcot: drinking a ton, but in the way they do it instead.

I'm sure the Epcot Day Drinkers Club is always nothing but put together and has never bothered anyone while they cram in 11 drinks. They end at Mexico and then teleport out of the park, I guess.

This is the same group that thought it was funny to throw a fit over a trashcan.
