For a brief second I thought this might be the opening salvo to get Disney and UCF back in each other's good graces (especially as Rosen has more or less moved on to working closely with Universal, and so has the theater department's themed experience programs), but it seems to be a lot more high level than that.

Aren’t most boards made up of people who work regular jobs during the day? Boards usually meet in evenings, or once or twice every quarter. Etc.

I’m sure it’s perfectly manageable.

In Florida, appointments take their positions in acting capacity before Senate confirmation. The 2026 regular session runs January 13 - March 13, 2026, and he'll be confirmed by the Florida Senate sometime during that period. Regarding his bio, Rollins College is in Winter Park just north of Orlando so he already has a connection to Central Florida.
