Other moves that should have happened-

Studios
-Live action Ariel retired
-Anything different in Pixar Plaza
Mike W., Sadness, Merida etc

-Bring back Fantasmic sets that are not hidden and deliberately kept away from guests. If Studios Entertainment/Mgmt do not want to share set times, so be it. But it feels icky and petty to continue with the current plan. Let guests meet the characters.

Actually, no, I don't think they should do this. Seeing little girls of color meeting her is an incredibly special moment. It was a highlight of my last trip. I don't want to take that away. Whether or not you or I like the film, those little girls love that Ariel and they should be allowed to have her.

ALL RIGHT!!! Way to go. They got somebody who could fit the Jiminy costume. Now I need Jiminy to stay around 226 days til DW , DS and I arrive.

Such simple, incredibly low-cost little touches like this can enhance the experience so much. Older, perhaps lesser-know characters just walking around, no queues, or lightning lanes needed, interacting with the random guests they come across can create so much, at this point desperately needed atmosphere. I can't comprehend why there isn't more of this.

Why not both and have them rotate?

Unfortunately these days, crowd control/behavior (even for the lesser known characters) would be difficult for free roaming characters.

Traditional Ariel is at Ariel’s Grotto , Live Action in the Studios no need to rotate.

If Disney wanted to cut her she would be gone by now, easily could’ve been the home of Joy once she left Epcot given she just had a billion dollar release or Sttitch for the remake.

But Disney’s park ops sees a reason to keep live action Ariel
