I’d assume this is related to Disneyland, frankly. Anything WDW would be somewhat silly not to have been saved.

Unless it’s controversial, but then also I don’t expect the happy teasing.

I’m not, not going to say it ends up being a Disneyland Tomorrowland refresh bait and switch. But that’s what they seem to be doing. They’ve recently seemed smarter, but this is the company that one more thing’d a Figment meet and greet.

I’m going to log my actual guess that it’s for a droid living character. Akin to the thing they did with Herbie from fantastic 4.

This will be to announce the long-awaited addition of Tom Morrow to the 3rd lift hill of BTMRR. I recall Walt telling Roy that this was his dying wish back in 1966 so it’s about time, honestly. They can finally update the sign to “Walt Disney’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad”.
