I have seen this discussed elsewhere but not here as of yet.

I have confirmed via discussions with Disney that, as of 8/13 (some have reported 8/11) that Disney is offering transportation via Minnie Van for all Deluxe Resort Guests. The Minnie Van service can be booked up to 60 days out from the date of your arrival and both arrival and departure transportation can be booked at that time.

Cost is $199 each way.

We have been looking forward to this service being opened up for more than just club-level guests so we are very excited and will book immediately 60 days out. We are big Minnie Van fans and the service helps us relax during our long stays with our two somewhat-little boys.

$400 plus tip. Sounds like a Deluxe hotel guest experience.

It's quite a bit more than just regular Uber of Lyft. If compare more to a private car service is is more, but not *that* much more so if you compare it more to something like that, want a CM for a driver and want to feel like in the "bubble" from the airport, and have the money, I can see it

But if just comparing to cheapest option it looks a bit crazy

I’ve never used lift/uber only private car services, mainly because we are generally need transportation for a larger party 6-10. When you say it’s a bit more than uber, are you taking into account the size of the Minnie van? Meaning if I was just going down with a non kids wife trip, I don’t need the space of a van so I would look for cheaper options.

Maybe not compared to 10 people, but we are a family of 5 so need at least an Uber XL and it is usually ~$65 or so each way - so the Minnie Van is about 3x that

Regular Uber/Lyft can be as low as $35 if only 2 of us

Comparing this to uber is the wrong thing to do. Comparing this to a private car service is more appropriate since this is a scheduled personal pickup. I’ve used Tiffany Town Car when we’re not renting a car. Their rates are here: https://www.tiffanytowncar.com/wordpress/rates/ They charge $120 one way to/from MCO and WDW in a Minivan. Whether paying an additional $80 to have your driver be a Disney Cast Member is worth it is going to vary person to person. Personally, I‘ll stick with Tiffany Town Car.

$80 each way is $160 round trip

IMO that's a lot just to have a service that's Disney branded.

It’s definitely personal decision. I’ve seen plenty of people paying for premier pass which, to me, is far more ridiculous than this.

I’ve stepped up from MEARS Connect (not bad but long delays and many stops) to private transport (gear fusion) which was nice and much quicker but didn’t feel “deluxe”.

We use Minnie vans often throughout our trip because the ability to get away from the crowds and breath along with easily having two car seats makes it worth it for us…and for us that is well worth the extra $160. Plus the kids love the cartoons 😂.

To us, this can finally feel like the Disney trip starts at the airport which has been missing since magical express (RIP)
