GF not doing the gingerbread house this year.

I just watched a video from ATW where he stated this to Herb who has always been the gingerbread house greeter at GF for many years, and he confirmed it. There is construction in the lobby.

Yup fairly sure it was confirmed some time ago, too much construction work going on. Altho they could've probably moved it elsewhere to mix things up but that's too easy.

why.... people still pay
I am being facetious... Disney honestly only sees the guests still paying, they aren't going to lose that profit, regardless of customer satisfaction. And to be fair lots of customers it might be their only trip or they will forgive it due to construction so it probably doesn't even hurt return guests or surveys that much.

It was a unique display that guests enjoyed for the Christmas season. The snack items were always tasty. It's too bad Dis cant figure out a different site to place it for one season. There are many options that could house it.
