That’s for the entire company. That means Mickey + Pooh + Princesses + Marvel and Star Wars. The unless one of those accounts for 20% of Disneys sales, Pokemon is number one at 12 billion (that’s their only brand.)

I think they would make more money if the dug into their archives more. Sure lounge fly seems to be doing this, but they could always sell fox and the hound, robin hood, mary poppins, bambi, bolt, dumbo tshirts even if was just a washed out movie poster image. Seems theres alot of redundancy.

Tough to beat Cindy for girls. The representation on logos and throughout the parks is hard to miss. All princesses exist because of Cindy. The variations in Princesses can shift based pop culture and trends. Cindy says "We are the land of Princesses" and then Disney follows with "and we've got several flavors and one that will suit you". But Cindy is the OG.

For the boys it's tough. Fads, IP favorability, movie success, I think makes this extremely fluid. What I have realized is that the Anti-Hero flourishes in this demographic and Jack Sparrow is a more marketable IP than say a Will Turner.

I bought a Bambi sweatshirt at Old Navy this past winter because it was so cute. I agree, more classic movie merch would be nice.

Edited to add- it’s a child’s shirt, but I’m less than 5 feet tall, so it fits fine. I do wish they’d had stuff in adult sizes, however.
