In this photo Vader looks like he hopped out on living with the Land, grabbed a cucumber, and it trying to not get caught

From everything I have heard from Entertainment CM friends, the people at the level having to figure out where characters go didn't know the venue was closing until everyone else did.

The jedi academy stage has some sort of issue underneath that they need to fix before it can be used as a viable stage underneath. Its been neglected for fixing until recently since there are no plans to bring back the Training academy atm.

Vader literally had no plan for months. The information they had said that Vader was just going to be gone from the park until probably next summer to give them time to change things around so he can be at a set indoor location. Like perhaps taking over Ariel( live action meet and greet space) or where Olaf is since Olaf could then shift to the new courtyard inside.

However, due to guest demand, this Star Tours solution was literally only talked about as being a thing as of last week among the Frontline CM.

And tbh, with the turnaround time they had, there really weren't any indoor spaces he could go into immediately in the park. Anywhere they could maybe use requires rethemeing.

Essentially, it was this or no Vader at all in regards to the immediate future.

And yes, nearly every CM thinks the GE timeline thing is lunacy at this point. Especially with the Mandolorian takeover of Smugglers happening in May. Gotta make the few people who are in charge of that show choice aspect at both WDI and Lucasfilm change their mind!

Only bathrooms i can think of in operation is on Sunset Blvd and near muppets in studio.
There are lots of restrooms in DHS. A few examples:

There are restrooms on Hollywood Blvd on the right hand side after tapping into the park.

There are two sets of restrooms on the right side of Sunset, one in between the shops and one near Tower of
Terror. There are also restrooms next to Rock ‘n Rollercoaster.

There are restrooms at both ends of Toy Story Land. One is just past One Man’s Dream, so not too far from the closed restrooms at Animation Courtyard.

And they are charging full price for parks largely behind walls. And the “work” is overwhelmingly replacement, not addition.
Look... we all want to save money when going to WDW... but the parks are still pulling in significant crowds even with large parts closed and at current prices. If DCA didn't discount tickets when it was under the knife, no disney park ever will.

There should be construction discounts. The amount can be based on whether the work involves additions or replacements as well as the number of construction walls in a park.

Yeah, that’s a fair argument when DHS had 3 rides, but they closed something that 95% of the park didn’t experience and probably about 70% (for muppets).

It was probably next to 0% that chose to visit DHS for those experiences (for the muppet fans, WDWMAGIC is not representative of the GP).

Magic same thing, >95% of the park was not doing the closed experiences.

AK is validly an issue, but they’ve closed Boneyard and PW (which most people did not do / prioritize) while keeping Dinosaur open as long as humanly possible.
