It certainly is hotter than the 1970s and WDW has been adapting. More indoor M&Gs, as an example. Enclosed theaters and queues. Less outdoor dining.Exactly. I've been going to WDW in July for over a decade. It was always close to 100 degrees (literally). It isn't anything new.
Absolutely. We did fine during the July heatwave because we are accustomed to WDW in the summer and took an afternoon swim break every day. I really feel for people who stayed in a park all day. At least summer crowds are much lower than a couple decades ago. I couldn’t imagine going to WDW in this heat with 2005 summer crowds. It’s more manageable when you aren’t waiting more than 30 min for much of anything.Once again people need to remember that just because "it's always this hot in Florida" doesn't mean the warnings don't serve a purpose.
Tourists who aren't used to this kind of heat are being informed of what to expect and how to handle it.
There was a warning from someone on social media that I saw recently telling people to be careful because they burnt their feet on the hot pavement at a water park. Sometimes people don't realize how different Florida is compared to where they live.
We had a local warning in July, because of a sudden change in temperature. The actual temperature was comparable to a hot summer day, but the warning happened because it was a sudden spike and people wouldn't be used to it yet.
If this is normal and something you're used to, great. Maybe the warning isn't directed at you.

Universal should have taken note from, say Kung-Fu Panda Land at Universal Beijing when designing Universal Epic Universe.WDW could take note from, say, Kung-Fu Panda Land at Universal Beijing.
Completely indoor themed land with dark ride, flat rides, shopping, M&G, can be enjoyed regardless of weather.
The indoor theme and ambience is created so well, it makes guests feel as if they're actually in China.
No reason they couldn’t be built. They’d just use the same model used for Manta at Sea World Abu DhabiBetter yet they should follow the Dubai parks model and build all parks indoors. The only downside is coasters like Velocicoaster and Stardust Racers wouldn't be built
